Policy Statement

Our company is committed to providing safe, reliable, and well-maintained outdoor power equipment for rental purposes. We aim to ensure customer satisfaction and safety by adhering to the following procedures and guidelines.

Rental Eligibility

• Renters must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID.
• All renters must complete a rental agreement, provide intended use of equipment and up to date contact information.
• Renter must carry insurance to cover the use of the equipment and is liable for the equipment during the agreed upon rental period.
• If at any time it seems that the customer will not be able to run the equipment in a safe/competent manner, L & P Supply and it’s employees reserves the right to deny rental of the requested equipment.

Equipment Inspection and Maintenance

• All equipment will be inspected, cleaned, and tested before each rental.
• Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately to staff upon return.
• Routine maintenance will be performed according to manufacturer recommendations.

Rental Periods and Fees

• Rental periods are available by the day or week. Rates are posted at the front desk and on our website.
• Late returns may incur additional fees.
• Full payment is due at the time of rental. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, credit/debit card, or approved business accounts.
• Customer is responsible for returning equipment with the same amount of fuel that the tank was at when it was released for rental.

Customer Responsibilities

• Customers are responsible for safe operation and care of rented equipment.
• Equipment must be used according to manufacturer instructions and only for its intended purpose.
• Any loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the renter.
• Customer is responsible for loading and unloading of equipment and ensuring the load is safe and secure on transportation.

Safety Guidelines

• Customers will receive an orientation on equipment operation and safety prior to rental.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, harnesses and ear protection is recommended and must be provided by the customer.
• Equipment must not be operated by unauthorized individuals, minors, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Return Procedure

• Equipment must be returned clean and in good working condition by the agreed-upon time.
• Staff will inspect returned equipment for damage or excessive wear.
• Any additional charges will be discussed and documented at the time of return.
